Editor of KYC Alert, David Marchant, first reported the story in his KYC Alert newsletter last week. Marchant is a fomer Bermuda journalist who runs an offshore newsletter.

The judgment was entered at the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama on July 1, 2004 after the 30 defendants including Lines Overseas Management failed to defend a civil complaint after being served in December 2001.
